We are excited to announce the development of the T.C. Steele College Scholarship named after our founding president Mr. Ty Steele. Mr. Steele had the vision to bring the communities of  Panama City together and create an organized league that not only provides children a safe place to play football and cheer but to develop character.

Mr. Steel not only instilled athleticism in our youth but the importance of academic success. During his tenure as the president of GCYFA, he went to earn a Bachelors and Masters degree, setting an example for our youth to follow.

We are proud to keep his legacy going at GCYFA through this scholarship fund, created to assist our student-athletes with pursuing their academic goals of higher learning.

Applicant Requirements:

​

Must have been a participant in GCYFA Association(s) for 3 years or more

Minimum GPA of 2.5

Submit an Essay on a selected topic:

   1) What GCYFA means to me

  2) How I will be an agent of change in my community.
